After dinner, we decided to go into the hot tub. We especially loved sitting in the hot water when there was snow outside, and from where the hot tub was on our back patio, we had a beautiful view of our garden. Everything was covered in snow and the sky was clear tonight.

We all met outside in our swim wear, and we got into the water after placing our towels to the side where they wouldn’t get wet.

“This is exactly what I needed after today,” Whitt said, leaning back with his arms stretched out on the border of the tub.

“Me too. Today was fucking exhausting,” Forest added.

I raised a brow at him and chuckled. “You were the one doing the least work and yet you hurt yourself.”

Forest shrugged, dismissing my point. “It was still exhausting.”

I decided not to argue and relaxed in the water, resting my feet next to Whitt who was sitting opposite of me. Forest was next to him, and Arrow was to my right. She wasn’t very talkative tonight and that was okay. But something flickered in her eyes. Mischief. Excitement. And we were about to find out what was on her mind.
